On Robson Street – Courtney

I’m very, very excited to bring you my first ever street style post shot by none other than me! I’ve wanted to incorporate some of my own street style taken shots for awhile now. Though my personal style posts are quite literally my style, the style I see on others is part of “my style” as well. The things I gravitate to not only inspire me as an observer, but also affect the sartorial choices I make for myself down the road.

Having said that, I hope you enjoy this first post with the beautiful Courtney, a speaker at Me to We – her personality was every bit as lovely as her style and I feel so lucky that I ran into such a gem during my first run. Please let me know what you think of this becoming a weekly feature, I’d love to hear your feedback!

What first drew me to her was the effortless yet modernly chic colour combination of her camel Wilfred coat and burgundy American Apparel skinnies. My favourite part of her whole look though? Her hair! It’s honestly the most beautiful colour, and to be perfectly frank, I kind of wish I’d asked her what she does to care for it because it is ridiculously shiny. Her vintage shoes, bag, and Ray-Bans set off the whole look amazingly. All around the perfect look for a sunny autumn afternoon.

Happy weekend everybody!

You take beautiful photos! What camera do you use?

Btw, how is it possible that you're also a Vancouver blogger but I JUST started following your blog? Well I guess it starts now. 🙂

I just love Courtney's outfit! That coat is gorgeous, and the colour of her pants (while a bit to wild for me) suits her beautifully! Fabulous street style shots, Alex, I can't wait to see more of them 🙂

It's a great idea! I do love your own style posts, but nothing wrong with a once a week street style thang – and to echo the other posters, nice shots!
